Rematch - Character Look and R&D

I became Lead Character Artist on Rematch shortly after the departure of our former Lead, Guillaume Loquin, in 2022. He had laid down the very solid technical base that would become the Customisation System of Rematch, so we were able to focus on the artistic side. I'm very proud of what the team managed to accomplish during the past three years and how much we've grown thanks to this project.

My role consisted of everything you can expect from a lead: stirring the team towards the Art Director's artistic vision, giving feedback, establishing pipelines and writing their documentation (200+ pages), coordinating with the other teams, and when I had some spare time, producing assets. We did a lot of Research and Development for the project, and the characters' look has greatly evolved with the help of our ADs, our Technical Artists and Animation Team.
